Think of consumers CDMA is "Ancient Technology"

Technology code division multiple access (CDMA) for this is still considered to be "skewed" by the consumer. Even in consumer perception, CDMA technology is still far less than the Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM).

To erase the negative impression, smartfren broadband services has opened a technology EV-DO Rev B Phase 2 which is claimed to be able to download data speeds up to 14.7 Mbps and upload data at speeds of 5.4 Mbps. In the interim, the new service was launched on October 20, 2011 then this can be enjoyed in the Greater Jakarta area alone. Next year, this technology will be deployed to the area smartfren coverage throughout Indonesia.

"With this technology, we can enjoy online gaming and video streaming like Youtube access in a seamless," he added.

Smartfren became the first CDMA operator in Indonesia and is the second operator in the world that uses technology EV-DO Rev. B Phase 2. Previously, this technology is adopted by operators in India.

"Smartfren only lost a few days with operators in India. Though they do not have a cellular card products," he added.

Story claimed the biggest difficulty is the lack of marketing the CDMA technology mobile phone with CDMA networks, especially smart phones that are currently emerging consumer loved homeland. In fact, the majority of mobile phones will be used to access the data would be better to use the CDMA network technology for superior quality of its data access.

Luckily some phone vendors are willing to make phones that use CDMA networks, such as issuing Samsung Samsung Galaxy Y. Several other vendors will also issue a similar product like the iPhone with CDMA technology to Blackberry Dakota and Montana that support CDMA technology.
